Before the company had a name, its founder was contacted by friends of a homeowner who had moved into a senior living facility. The home in Bettendorf was packed with belongings and couldn’t be marketed the usual way. Other companies were offering cleanout bids and complicated proposals. Instead, the house was bought as-is, everything was handled in-house, and the sale closed in a standard thirty days. That approach is what Porch Light is built on.
